HD Welcomes Cash Bently

By | Uncategorized

Raised in Virginia, Cash Bently traveled the US playing corridos music with his family at the age of just 7. He began producing music as a teen, and made his way to LA by doing so for other artists. Once confident in his production, Bently began writing his own songs and making a name for himself as an artist. He continued to release different types of music and experiment, until he found himself dropping regional Mexican songs. Many people gravitated towards this new sound, and he continues to evolve as an artist day-by-day.

Heavy Duty Publishing Welcomes Tobias

By | Uncategorized

Denton, TX singer-songwriter Tobias recently released their label debut on True Panther, Two Birds. The record culminates in a visionary and compulsively listenable record that lays honest, insightful lyrics against a lush backdrop of harsh metals and rhythmic folk. Two Birds is a kind of mission statement, intimate and inspired, borne of seclusion and intense contemplation: of youth, of reinvention, of the self, and even of quantum physics. It whispers in your ear, and then it howls.

Her first album, the self titled Billy Nomates, was released in 2020 and quickly gained critical attention from BBC Radio. DJ Amy Lamé chose Billy Nomates’s as “Album of the Year” in 2020. She released the Emergency Telephone EP in October 2021, and just this year released the incredible CACTI, both produced by herself and Geoff Barrow.

Billy describes her music as no-wave, we also hear a little post-punk. Either way, this UK rebellion music just rocks.
