Born in Japan, but now based in LA – Sora is a Grammy awarded musician, producer, and instrumentalist. Born and raised in an artistic household, Sora began playing cello at a young age and quickly showed a natural aptitude for the instrument. He then went to NYU’s Clive Davis program where he was able to hone his production, engineering, and songwriting ability for two years. After school, Sora started his professional career working and learning under O’Mas Keith (producer of Frank Ocean’s Channel Orange.) Since then, Sora has gone on to produce and collaborate with artists including Donald Glover (fka Childish Gambino), Lucky Daye, Deb Never, BENEE, Jaden Smith, Skrillex, Mereba, Kilo Kish, and more. Sora specializes in organic instrumentation and creating left of center palettes for artists.
