Jordan Galland knows how to musically set the scene. He’s done so for HBO’s “The Neistat Brothers,” for the Tribeca Film “Supporting Characters,” Lena Dunham’s “Tiny Furniture” and Krysten Ritter’s “L!fe Happens,” among others.
With Wind-Up Rabbit, Galland’s forthcoming EP, the scene is akin to falling in love on Halloween, or driving with the top down because your AC is broken. It’s a little spooky, a bit improvisational and layered with pop music sensibility.
Produced by Charlie Klarsfeld, Wind-Up Rabbit was recorded at BKGM Studio and includes guitar from Sean Lennon, percussion from Jesse Brickel, a duet with Charlotte Kemp Muhl and backing vocals from Sissy Clemens and Anna Nordeen.
