21-year-old Christian Taylor moved to Los Angeles after graduating high school in 2021. The Tacoma, Washington native has been playing in bands and producing music for himself and others since his early teens, and is an accomplished drummer, guitarist, and frontman himself. Christian cowrote and produced all of Dreamer Boy’s LONESTAR and Kacy Hill’s Bug LPs, both released in 2024. Other recent cuts and collaborations include Michael Seyer, Junior Mesa, Enumclaw, Vagabon, Claire Rosinkranz, EXUM, Zuri Marley, Lucca Dohr, and carpetgarden. He found his way to Heavy Duty via mentor Buddy Ross (Frank Ocean, HAIM, Vampire Weekend).
